*What's sad and pathetic is that I got this from the only 3 remaining GG eps I have left on my Tivo (my emergency episodes). And WHY am I on my emergency episodes? I'll tell you why - because CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS SUCKS! Hard and sideways. Fucking idiots wasted 3 hours of my life and the cable is not working STILL! So I can't watch GG or LA Ink or Barefeoot Contessa or ANYTHING but local channels. Which aren't even clear. Sonofabitch! It's just SO vexing! It's not that deep and it should not be this difficult to get working cable. And they could give two shits cause they have a lock on this area. It's them or bupkus. Especially since my landlord won't let me get my beloved Directv. Meanie. Suppose it could be worse. My local channels could be out too and then I'd miss The Office, Grey's, Chuck etc. Sad that this is my primary concern when thousands of acres and homes and people's lives are being destroyed as So Cal burns.And yet there it is.

OMG I love it! It's so flipping cute! And original (right?)!  Ironically they gave a commercial for Wicked while I was watching the show and Kristin Chenoweth is on the show. She originated the role of Glinda in Wicked on Broadway. And the lead guy is a cutie too. Of course since my cable looks so crappy there was a ginourmous line through the left side of the screen and it was all fuzzy. I don't see why I have to suffer like this. I can't even watch CBS, can barely see NBC (THE OFFICE and HEROES!) and the CW is a wrap. I wanted to watch Gossip Girl and Reaper but nooooooooo. Ugh!

Am I crazy? Why the hell are all these critics putting the new Bionic Woman on their best upcoming shows list? Did they see another episode that I didn't see? The shit was WACK! Crappy lines, crappy stiff performances, crappy fight scenes.. unreal! Perhaps as critics they've seen episode 2 and it was better cause the Pilot that I got off of Amazon Unbox SUCKED! HARD!

Thanks to the Amazon UnBox I was able to see the pilots of Bionic Woman and Chuck on NBC. I'm so bummed Bionic... is so bad. I mean really really crappy. The acting, the corny lines - oh it all blows! Surprisingly, I liked the other show - Chuck. I kinda like the dorky main character who works in the Nerd Herd (read Geek Squad) Department of Buy More (read Best Buy). Kinda funny lines, directed by McG - I liked it. Usual dearth of black characters except for the token one playing the boss but whaddya gonna do? Actually I really ought to write my own damn show like Shonda Rhimes. Life is not that bad either. I've never seen the lead before. He's interesting. I need to investigate further.

Why? I'll tell you why. The piece of shit DVR that Directv gave me is bugging the fuck out! Deletes random shows on its own, doesn't tape things or if it does it'll only partially tape it and you can't even watch what it partially tapes! Oh and then it'll just hang while watching something and the only thing to fix it is to restart the whole thing. BLOODY HELL! This was supposed to be the bloody replacement for the Tivo that up and just died on me in August. I call Directv and the only solution they give me is to reformat the hard drive of this brand new DVR. Except I'll lose everything on it when its reformatted. FUCKERS! Last 4 eps of Rescue Me - gone. The season so far of Grey's Anatomy - gone. The season so far of Ugly Betty - gone. The season so far of The Office - gone. My emergency episodes of The Golden Girls - done. My 30 prioritized shows - gone.  My sister's appearances on Court TV - gone. So now I have to watch everything and wipe the stupid thing. They say it won't happen again but I bet it will. Bitch SLAGS!

I'm GUTTED!

I LOVE THIS SHOW! I'm sure I've seen every episode a million times (especially since I tape it 4-5 times a day). I want to BE  a golden girl! When I'm 55, I want to move to Miami, date a bunch of men, take dance classes, act ia bunch of plays at the community theater, start a bunch of businesses and get into impossible situations with my friends. They don't make shows like this anymore. And what's worse is that a show like this would never get on the air now. A show about 4 senior citizens living in Miami? 4 old wrinkly women living, laughing, loving - no way! Such a shame, show was hysterical! A little dirty too... LOL  Blanche and all her men, Rose and Dorothy too. Sigh. Love that show.

I think I may watch too much TV. I've got like 50 shows programmed to tape on my DVR (my precious Tivo just up and DIED on me JUST LIKE BLOODY THAT with 5 World Cup games hijacked on it - Zidane's last games and the final, 2 episodes of Rescue Me and one of the Closer. Grrrrrrr I loved that machine but how HOW could it just die like that on me? Sigh.) Anyway, where was I? Oh yes my new Directv DVR - it holds like over 100 hours of programming (my previous Tivo only held 35 hours) which is DANGEROUS to someone who watches as much TV as I can. New shows, returning shows, old shows - I've got it. I don't even have time to watch all of it! But does that stop me from taping? Nope. I've even had to rely on televisionwithoutpity.com and their recaps to watch a few shows. I read the recap of Prison Break (and Lost sometimes) then fast forward the episode only stopping at the truly interesting bits so I can see for myself. Is that too much TV? Sigh. I think it is.
